Hey, I\u2019m Kilian \u2014 with a K<\/em>, as in kaput<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Welcome to my blog !!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been into technical stuff for as long as I can remember. I tend to see the world as a big pile of gears somehow working together. Everything has its own logic, its own way of moving energy around, and I\u2019ve always enjoyed figuring out how all those parts end up spinning in sync.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things get even more interesting when technology meets emotion. That\u2019s why live entertainment has always fascinated me \u2014 especially lighting. Lighting has this underrated superpower: shaping space, setting the mood, and turning sound into something you can almost see<\/em>. It\u2019s been part of my life forever, and honestly, it\u2019s probably part of my personality at this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m very much a hands-on problem solver. If something breaks, my first instinct isn\u2019t to throw it away \u2014 it\u2019s to open it. A broken object is basically an open invitation to understand how it was designed, what went wrong, and whether it deserves a second life. When a repair works, it feels great. When it doesn\u2019t, at least I learned something (and gained spare parts).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After taking apart more appliances than I probably should have, I started wanting to build my own stuff. That\u2019s where things really took off. Wood, metal, wires, code \u2014 each material has its own rules, and mixing them is an endless source of ideas. I spend a lot of time 3D modeling, CNC cutting, welding, assembling, and turning everyday ideas into real objects. Making things is just how my brain works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That path eventually took me abroad, mostly to Scandinavia, where I studied and graduated with a Master\u2019s degree in industrial robotics. Studying there broadened my interest for systems, automation, and how humans and machines can work together without getting in each other\u2019s way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fat Cat Engineering<\/strong> is what happens when you spend too much time coding behind a keyboard \u2014 so get outside and break stuff like a proper engineer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
